Incoterms

(Roles: Super Admin, IT Manager)

OVERVIEW

Incoterms, or International Commercial Terms, are a set of standardized trade terms that help buyers and sellers in different countries understand each other when conducting international transactions. According the U.S. Commercial Service, the four most used would be:

  • EXW – Exworks
  • FOB – Freight On Board
  • CIF – Cost, Insurance and Freight
  • CPT - Carriage Paid To
Delivery Method and Incoterms

Create a New Incoterm

  • Step 1: In the Left Navigation click on ‘Admin’.
  • Step 2: Go to 'Purchase Orders' and click on 'Incoterms'.
  • Step 3: Click on 'Create New Incoterm'.
  • Step 4: Input the 'Incoterm' name. Input a descriptive note in the 'Notes' textbox.
  • Step 5: Click on 'Save'.

Delete an Incoterm

  • Step 1: In the Left Navigation click on ‘Admin’.
  • Step 2: Go to 'Purchase Orders' and click on 'Incoterms'.
  • Step 3: Click on the 'Trash Bin' icon.
  • Step 4: Click on 'Yes'.

* Incoterms CANNOT be deleted if they are already assigned to an Item.
