How do I replace a SpecWeb account with another Designer?

There is no ‘Replacing’ a designer / user account with another account. Best Practice is to delete the designer / user in order to free up an active license so that a new designer / user can be created. 

 

  • Step 1: Go to ‘Dashboard. In the Left Navigation panel, click Admin.    
  • Step 2: Go to User Management, click Designers / External Users.  
  • Step 3: If there are multiple office locations, Select Office’ dropdown to locate the office where the designer / user has been assigned in order to be deleted.   
  • Step 4: To delete a designer / user, click the Trash Bin icon.  
  • Step 5: Click Create New Designer.  
  • Step 6: Enter the required information (NameEmailOffice). Phone is optional.  
  • Step 7: Assign a Role to the Designer/User.  
  • Step 8: Click Save.   
  • Step 9: The Designer / User will be notified via email from SpecWeb@specsources.com  to verify their email address and to create their password. Once verified, they will be able to sign in. 
  • Step 10: Confirm that the Designer / User is now able to sign in by reviewing the column ‘Accepted Invitation’. There should be a check mark to indicate the email address has been verified.
