Categories
(Roles: Super Admin, IT Manager)
OVERVIEW
Categories and Sub-Categories are used to organize content in the Catalog.
Once added, these Categories can be applied to items in the Catalog to help organize them for easier browsing.
Examples are:
- Item Type categories for each of the Spec Types
- ‘Seating’
- ‘Lighting’
- Types of Spaces
- Executive Office
- Classroom
QUICK TUTORIAL
Create a Category
- Step 1: In the Left Navigation click on ‘Admin’.

- Step 2: Go to 'Catalog' and click on ‘Categories’.

- Step 3: Click on ‘Create New Category’.

- Step 4: In the row below, in the first cell, enter the 'Category Name', and hit enter on your keyboard.

- Step 5: Click on ‘Save’.

Delete a Category
- Step 1: In the Left Navigation click on ‘Admin’

- Step 2: Go to 'Catalog' and click on ‘Categories’.

- Step 3: Click on the 'Trash Bin' icon to the right.

- Step 4: Click on ‘Yes’.

*Categories CANNOT be deleted if Subcategories are assigned to them.
